We use only top quality wood, in poplar, linden, wenge, ebony or tulipwood, and we work only with traditional methods for the construction of our products: we know that excellence and prestige are born from the raw materials and the skill of the hands that work them.

The wood is aged with simple yet ingenious methods handed down through generations, and then colored and polished with traditional techniques:
° Aging: Small holes to imitate woodworm, small knocks to imitate accidents, and rounding of the edges to mimic the wear of daily use. All these processes give the objects a fantastic antique effect, a lived-in feel that makes them come alive.
° Coloring the wood: the initial coloring is done with natural water-based stains and the final polishing is with shellac; shellac is a natural product that has been used for hundreds of years to polish and protect the wood of furniture and musical instruments. We still use it to polish with the same techniques and secrets learned from our grandparents and great-grandparents.

The electric fret saw is an extremely fine saw, a new generation of the old manual fret saw. With it, we cut thin wood, from 3 millimeters for bookmarks and magnets, up to 6 millimeters for larger objects.
Thanks to the small size of the tool, we can create the curves, angles, and curls that embellish the silhouette of our products, always different in the small details. With it, we create Clocks and Pendulums, Decorative Theaters, and Carillon Theaters.
For cutting wood with greater thickness, the band saw and the electric sander are used, for example to make Large Boxes and Music-boxes, and their frames. To create curls and curves we use gouges, the oldest hand tools used for woodworking, still used today for fine work.

The lathe is a machine that allows, thanks to the use of special chisels, to create objects with a round, convex, or elliptical shape. Precisely because the work is entirely manual the products are always unique, different from one another.
The wood is also always different: Teak, Ornello, Maple, Tuscan Olive, Tulipwood, Beech, Wenge, Cherry, Cypress, Thuja, Bubinga, Zebrano, Padouk, each with its own colors, grains, and clearly visible shades.
The objects are created from pieces of wood of a single species, or from pieces of different woods assembled by hand and decorated with the technique of inlay. Compositions with geometric designs that are always different, the result of typically artisanal creativity. With the lathe we create Spinning tops, Lucky eggs, Fountain pens and Mechanical pencils.
